Zyllem Reportedly Set to Discontinue Singapore Delivery Operations

Start up company Zyllem will be discontinuing its delivery operations in Singapore on 7 September and “realign its resources” to focus on its software services for logistics providers and supply chain players. Zyllem launched in Singapore in 2014 as RocketUncle, offering same day delivery. The company had reportedly built up a network of several thousand drivers in Singapore and in June this year it rolled out a next day delivery service.

The company’s website currently still lists the next-day delivery launch as its latest news story. However, it appears Zyllem sent an email yesterday (31 August) announcing the closure of its Singapore delivery operations. The news website TechInAsia obtained a copy of the email, and one of its readers also attached a scan of the email in a comment on the report.

In addition to its Singapore activities, Zyllem also expanded into Malaysia and the Philippines in 2015.
